MEET THE REMODELER | SUE FROM EASY BATHROOM & KITCHEN REMODELING
To start this remodeler party off, we introduce you to Sue Fishko — the owner and designer at Easy Bathroom & Kitchen Remodeling.

Let’s get to know Sue…
1. HOW DID YOU GET STARTED REMODELING?
I gradually grew into design and remodeling while working for another employer. There was a vacancy in the sales/design area of the bathroom remodeling side of that company that opened up and I asked if I could fill that position. Since I have always enjoyed working with color and design and I am detail-oriented, it seemed like it would be a good fit. Eventually, kitchen remodeling was also added to the repertoire of what we do.
2. WHAT MADE YOU STAY IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I love the wow factor when clients see the finished project! There is a great deal of satisfaction in helping clients make their kitchens and bathroom prettier, while at the same time making it more functional and safer for the way they use their home. Our team really strives to maintain the wow factor; that is what keeps us in business. And my name is on every project.
3. DOES YOUR COMPANY HAVE A SPECIALTY? (IF SO, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS)
I would say that our specialty is that we provide remodeling with a personal touch. Our level of customer service is our specialty. We stay in touch with the client throughout the project, encouraging them to call if they have questions and concerns. In addition to our personalized customer service, we only do kitchens and bathrooms. That is it. We don’t build additions or decks or things like that. So when we start working in someone’s home we are dedicated to getting that specific project within budget and on time.
4. WHAT WAS ONE OF YOUR MOST CHALLENGING PROJECTS THUS FAR?
The word remodeling has a messy, disorganized connotation. Changing people’s perceptions of that can be challenging. In the 14+ years I’ve been doing this we’ve never had a disgruntled client because we didn’t clean up. We turn messy into organized.
5. WHAT EXCITES YOU THE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
What excites me the most is helping people turn their kitchen or bathroom into what they always dreamed of and then seeing how they decorate it and make it their own. It is all about our installers. When the job is done and I ask the homeowner if our service was good, they say, “No. It was great!”.
